Walmart Has A Little Bit Of Everything
Walmart parking lots tend to attract an impressively varied collection of vehicles, especially when you're shopping at a busy location on a weekend. You might see brand-new SUVs parked a few spaces away from an ancient sedan that has clearly been through several eras of automotive history. There are practical family vehicles, work trucks, compact commuters, and the occasional car that looks completely out of place among the shopping carts.
1. The Family SUV
There is almost always going to be a family SUV parked at Walmart. Whether it's a Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Chevy Traverse, etc. There is usually room for people and all your groceries. Maybe you brought some sporting equipment and it's in the back. With kids, car seats, and shopping carts, there's always something in the back of these cars.
2. The Pickup Truck
Another common car you'll find at Walmart is the pickup truck. If you live in an area that likes to own trucks, you will probably see one in the Walmart parking lot. There's room for just about anything you need to haul. Some trucks will be full to the brim, and others will never hold a thing.
3. The Old Beater
You will always find that one car in every Walmart parking lot that has been around forever. Maybe it's an older model Toyota Corolla, Ford Taurus, or Chevy Cavalier. These cars will have miles on them and will be worn out. But if it gets you where you need to go, then why buy a new car?
4. The Minivan
Minivans are still a popular choice for families. They allow more space for people and your groceries. A Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, or Chrysler Pacifica can hold tons of groceries and leave room for passengers. A Walmart trip can also involve enough cargo to make all those sliding doors and clever storage compartments extremely useful.
5. The Compact Economy Car
Small cars will always be common because they are cheap to run and park. Whether it's a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, or Hyundai Elantra. They'll get you to work and the store with no problem. Their modest size also comes in handy when you're trying to find a parking space near the cart return.
6. The Giant SUV
Some people will come to Walmart in an SUV that can hold a bunch of people. Whether it's a Chevy Suburban, Ford Expedition, or GMC Yukon, they will stand out. Especially when parked next to a smaller car. Maybe they need all that room, who knows?
7. The Work Van
Not only will you find people driving to Walmart for their own needs, but you will also find people working. Whether it's a plumber, electrician, contractor, or someone that delivers things. They may come to Walmart to grab lunch or supplies for the job. The inside of these vans can be crazy packed.
8. The Crossover
Many people choose to drive a crossover. They give you more room than your typical sedan but aren't as big as a truck. A Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Nissan Rogue, or Ford Escape are all popular choices. If you like having a little extra room in your car, then maybe this is for you.
9. The Sports Car
Sometimes you'll find a sporty car parked at Walmart. Whether it's a Mustang, Corvette, or Dodge Challenger. It will definitely stand out from all the other cars parked there. Maybe they just needed to run some errands and wanted to take their sports car.
10. The Luxury Sedan
You will occasionally see a luxury car parked at Walmart. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Audi, or Cadillacs will all be found in the parking lot. There's nothing weird about this; some people just like to buy from Walmart and drive a fancy car.

11. The Jeep
Jeeps are fun to see in parking lots. They usually come with some kind of add-ons, like bigger tires. They can look like they are about to go on an adventure when really they're just stopping by Walmart. Jeeps that are not Wranglers will look more like your average suburban car.
12. The Electric Vehicle
Electric cars have become more common in everyday parking lots. Whether it's a Tesla, Mustang Mach-E, or another brand of EV. You will start to see them more at your local Walmart. Some Walmarts have charging stations that you can plug in at while shopping.
13. The Rusty Pickup
Everyone has that old truck that's rusty and falling apart. But it still gets the job done when you need to haul stuff around. If you have an older truck that you don't mind driving around town, then it may be at Walmart. Probably hauling some type of dirt or trash in the truck bed.
14. The Teenager's First Car
When your child gets their license, they will most likely take their car to Walmart. Maybe it's an older car that was passed down to them, or they bought one themselves. They'll have all kinds of things in their car to help them get through their day.
15. The Station Wagon
It's becoming harder to find station wagons these days. If you spot one at Walmart, it's pretty cool. You'll mostly see older models of Subarus or Volvos. They're especially practical for anyone who routinely leaves Walmart with more bags than they originally intended to buy.
16. The Crossover With Every Accessory
There's nothing wrong with having your crossover fully accessorized. From baskets on top to window stickers and extra wheels. These people know what they like and how they want their car to look. You can usually tell that the owner has spent considerable time figuring out exactly how they want the vehicle set up.
17. The Delivery Driver's Car
If you work for a company that delivers, you may find yourself at Walmart. Maybe you're picking up something or just stopping by to get a bite to eat. These cars tend to be ordinary models because reliability, fuel economy, and operating costs matter more than showing off.
18. The Nearly New Car With Temporary Plates
You'll always see that one person with a brand-new car at Walmart. The car will be spotless and look like no one has driven it in ages. It may be the owner's first major purchase in years, so a routine Walmart trip can also serve as an early test of how much shopping the new cargo area can handle.
19. The Modified Car
Some people enjoy modifying their cars and driving them to Walmart. Whether it's a lowered car, tinted windows, custom paint, or something else. These cars are often personal projects, so the grocery store may be just another stop for someone who happens to take their automotive hobby everywhere.

There's that one car that's always parked at Walmart. You may not know why it's always there, but you see it every time you go. Whether it's actually there every day or your brain has just started noticing it, that familiar vehicle can become one of the unofficial landmarks of your local Walmart.
