When Cars Were Made With Women In Mind
Automakers have been tailoring cars to different audiences for decades, and women have often been given their own very specific corner of the automotive world. Certain models became associated with mothers, wives, secretaries, young women, and anyone who was supposedly looking for something practical, fashionable, or easy to operate. Some of those associations came from advertising, while others developed because particular cars genuinely fit the needs of the people buying them.
